Not too long ago,Dragon Ball FighterZreveal the first two characters being added in season 3, namely being Kefla and Ultra Instinct Goku. It didn’t take long for the internet to go into full hyperdrive concerning which characters they’d prefer to see in this season, as there is a plethora of franchisecharacters that could appear inDragon Ball FighterZ. After all, while it primarily focuses onZandSupercharacters,Dragon Ball GTGoku was added last season as well.

Now,Dragon Ball FighterZpublisher Bandai Namco has throw gas on the fire of season 3 speculation by revealing black silhouettes with colored backdrops when purchasing characters related to season 3. These colors are almost certainly related to the character that will be added, as Kefla’s color matches the color of her shirt, and the second one is a silver color, not unlike that of Ultra Instinct Goku.

This means that the next three colors are likely indicative of the new additions toDragon Ball FighterZ’s season 3. The third character seems to be related to a dark blue, the fourth character seems to be related to a strong green color, and the final appears to be related to a tan, off-yellow character. It’s also worth mentioning that these colors could be later changed, as seen in the past, but there’s no harm in trying to narrow down the characters.

Blue - SSBE Vegeta, Shallot, Moro, or Omega Shenron

Because blue is such a strong character and a dominant theme given Super Saiyan Blue, it’s hard to really nail this color down. Perhaps the most likely is Super Saiyan Blue Evolution Vegeta, as there has been a plethora ofGoku and Vegeta formsadded to the game. That said, SSBE Vegeta isn’t that different from SSB Vegeta, so many fans would likely be disappointed with this choice.

Dragon Ball Legendshas yet to cross over with any major franchise entries, but it’s worth mentioning that Android 21 recently appeared in the game. Therefore, it’s possible that the next entry is Shallot, as the blue in the image fits Shallot’s armor perfectly. It helps that this amnesiac Saiyan is also the protagonist ofDragon Ball Legendsand is designed by Akira Toriyama as well.

However, if not taking a dip intoDragon Ball Legends, another big contender is Moro, the primary antagonist of the Galactic Prisoner arc. As the most recent villain, this is both a plus and negative for Moro’s addition, and it’s worth adding that the shades of blue are differently. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Moro represented here, however.

It’d also be remiss not to mention Omega Shenron, whose blue body patterns fits the color here. Given that oneDragon Ball GTcharacterwas added last season, it’s not impossible to see him inDragon Ball FighterZ.

Master Roshi Dragon Ball FighterZ Tournament of Power Season 3

Green - Pikkon

Green is also hard to nail down given the sheer number of Namekians and other characters who have a predominant use of the color. However, Pikkon would likely be among the most popular choices, a character first introduced inDBZfilleras a fighter in the other world tournament. There’s the question of his canonicity in the greaterDragon Ball Zuniverse, but at the same time, that’s not really an issue with a game likeDragon Ball FighterZ.

Yellow - Master Roshi (DBS)

Once again, yellow is such a broad-ranging color that it’s hard to define; however, there’s only one character who could fit the character thatDragon Ball FighterZfans who would be glad to see. Master Roshi fell mostly to the wayside inDragon Ball Z, but his role inDragon Ball Superhelped bring him back into the spotlight. In the Universe Survival Saga, he joins team 7, surprising Goku by home powerful he has become after training in secret. It helps that not only does this tan-yellow fit his trousers in Super, but it’s not too far from his original tunic either.

At the end of the day, fans will just need to wait and see who joins Kefla andUltra Instinct GokuinDragon Ball FighterZ’s season 3.

Dragon Ball FighterZis out now for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
