CD Projekt Red’sCyberpunk 2077was first announced in May 2012 and fans were able to view the first teaser trailer the following year. Despite two release date delays and some reported glitches, the game has already won countless awards, andreviews ofCyberpunk 2077so far show that the praise was well deserved.
In celebration of the long-awaited launch of the futuristic action role-playing game, CD Projekt Red has launched a new rewards program that will allow owners ofCyberpunk 2077to claim a variety of digital goodies and in-game items. These rewards can be claimed throughGOG Galaxy, the multiplatform game launcherdistributed by GOG.com, which is owned by the game’s developer. The free items will be accessible to players independent of whether they have purchased the PC or console version of the game.

Every purchased copy ofCyberpunk 2077comes with thegame’s original score, an artbook, sourcebook, a set of wallpapers, and the digital comic “Cyberpunk 2077: Your Voice.” The GOG.com version of the game also includes print-quality posters, additional wallpapers and avatars, as well as the digital comic “Big City Dreams.” This is the same comic that is being given away by some outlets as a preorder bonus.
The in-game items available for owners ofCyberpunk 2077include a Wolf School jacket and t-shirt inspired byThe Witchervideo game series, a GOG Galaxy t-shirt, a Black Unicorn blade, and Shupe the Troll plushy. These items can be claimed by simply connecting any version of the game with a GOG account.
The simplest way to do this is to download and install the GOG Galaxy application. In-game items for copies ofCyberpunk 2077purchased through GOG.com will automatically be unlocked once the game is launched via the program. Players who own the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Stadia, or a different PC version of the game need only sign in to the corresponding platform’s account in GOG Galaxy.
For example, to register the PS4 version ofCyberpunk 2077,click on the cog icon in the upper-left corner of the GOG Galaxy interface. Then select “Settings” from the drop-down menu that appears and choose“PlayStation Network” from the list of available game stores. Hit the “Connect” button and sign in to PSN, and all owned PlayStation titles will auto-populate in the GOG Galaxy game library, includingCyberpunk 2077.
Once the game shows up in the GOG Galaxy game library, players need only launchCyberpunk 2077using the app, and all of the free in-game items will then be found in the item stash located in V’s apartment. The digital extras like the soundtrack and digital comics can be accessed by clicking on the “Extras” tab onCyberpunk 2077’sgame page in GOG Galaxy. CD Projekt Red also plans to make additional in-game goodies available forCyberpunk 2077in the future.
Cyberpunk 2077launches on December 10 for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One, and PS5 and Xbox Series X version are currently in development.
