Following the launch of season 2,Call of Duty: Warzone 2players discover a new bug that causes players to get stuck when attempting to revive their teammates. Season 2 ofWarzone 2finally arrives after a slight delay, and with it come a number of highly anticipated changes to the experience. For many, the biggest is thereturn of the popular Resurgence mode, last seen with the firstWarzone. The fan favorite mode arrives with the new map called Ashika IslandAlongside that, therecentWarzone 2Season 2 launch trailershowcased plenty more new content and changes including enemy players now dropping their gear instead of a backpack, the return of the 1v1 Gulag, and confirming that the popular DMZ mode is getting completely refreshed, which means players will be starting from scratch with new missions. The issue, which has been appearing online more and more by players who have experienced it like koogee4 on theWarzonesubReddit, impacts players who are attempting to revive their teammates during a match. While the revive process works as expected, the player who picked their teammate up is then essentially locked in place, unable to move from that exact revive location. Naturally, this makes them a massively easy target for players or for the encroaching circle.
The problem, while pretty big for apopular Battle Royale game such asWarzone, has thankfully been identified by Infinity Ward who took to its official Twitter account to comment on it. At the time of writing, Infinity Ward is currently investigating the revive bug and doesn’t have any additional news as of yet. The Battle Royale bug has been added to the studio’s official Trello board, so interestedCall of Duty: Warzoneplayers can follow along to see how a fix is progressing.
Bugs, hacks, and glitches are nothing new to theWarzoneexperience. In fact, over the past week,Warzone 2players discovered a frustrating Lagswitch Hackwhich caused players impacted to be disconnected from games. Following the launch of Season 2, there seems to have been a rise in server and crashing problems, so many are hoping Infinity Ward makes that a priority.
