The teases included thereturn of red dots on the mini-map, which are now officially confirmed to be coming back. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3sees the return of map voting and all perks being usable at the start of the match. Players can also utilize the new Covert Sneakers Perk for silent movement, and they can look forward to multiplayer health increasing to 150, meaning an increased Time to Kill in all modes besides Hardcore. A new 3v3v3 mode called Cutthroat will be featured in the game, and fans will be able to battle it out across the16 6v6 maps from the 2009Modern Warfare 2. This means Afghan, Derail, Estate, Favela, Karachi, Highrise, Invasion, Quarry, Rundown, Rust, Scrapyard, Skidrow, Sub Base, Terminal, Underpass, and Wasteland are all going to be featured in the game at launch. 12 completely original maps will also be added as part ofModern Warfare 3’s post-launch seasonal content.

Modern Warfare 3’s multiplayer is also making some changes to movement.Slide canceling is back inModern Warfare 3, as is reload cancel. Mantling is faster, players can fire while sliding as well as immediately after, Tactical Sprint’s duration has been increased, and Tactical Sprint will now recharge while sprinting.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’s official release date is November 10, butCall of Dutyfans will have the chance to try it out ahead of launch, per usual. As always,Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3will host beta testsprior to launch that will give fans a taste of what they can expect from the online multiplayer experience.
