Regardless of what fans feel about the ending, there’s no denying that the manyJJK powersthey’ve witnessed are in a class of their own and something that fans can’t get enough of. Anime fans aren’t aware of the new powers that have been introduced in Jujutsu Kaisen, but they won’t mind as long since they’ve already been treated to some visual explosions of powers as jujutsu sorcerers and their enemies show off their impressive powers time and time again.
28Inverse
Jiro Awasaka
The bestJJKpowersare the ones that are are creative as they come, allowing users to trick their enemies and catch them by surprise to inflict a ton of damage in no time. Such is the case with Inverse, a cursed technique that could’ve made for a creative battle if it was used by a smarter user. Unfortunately, Jiro Awasaka was far from a competent fighter who failed to give both Yuji and Megumi a tough time.
Inverse switches the power level of attacks, meaning that strong punches will feel like a tickle while weak flicks can cause catastrophic damage. The limits of this power mean that some level of impact is required to reap results, otherwise the user can just touch their enemy and cause them to smash into a pulp with minimal effort.
27Straw Doll Technique
Nobara Kugisaki
Given the many powerfulabilities inJJKthat fans have seen, it’s easy to see why some people may write off the Straw Doll Technique as relatively weaker. However, it’s the creative ways in which Nobara uses this power that makes her such a force to be reckoned with. Her no-nonsense attitude and trickery make her one of the most entertaining people in the trio of newcomers to Tokyo Jujutsu High.
It’s a shame that Mahito’s violent attack has left her on the sidelines, but fans are still hopeful that one of their favorite characters will make a comeback, even if the current arc features a fight against a jujutsu sorcerer who is so nightmarishly powerful that Nobara will need a lot of help to make a dent against Sukuna’s powers. Using her Straw Doll Technique in tandem with other powers against Sukuna can certainly make for a spectacular end to this amazing battle.
26Puppet Manipulation
Kokichi Muta
Kokichi Muta is a character fans will miss, with this sickly human striving to attain a healthy body by any means necessary. The fact that he formed a Binding Vow with Mahito and his lackeys to achieve this goal was pretty alarming, but it turned out that Kokichi was a heroic figure all along and tried his hardest to use his Puppet Manipulation ability and overpower the enemy. Unfortunately, he was unsuccessful, and he fell to the combined might of Mahito and Kenjaku.
Manipulating puppets may not seem like the mostpowerfulJJKtechniquearound, but it’s clear to see that anyone who strives to master this ability can dish out a ton of damage when things align perfectly. A lot of preparation is required to form a puppet that’s as strong as can be, andKokichi certainly showedthat he could stand against the toughest jujutsu sorcerers around, even if he didn’t manage to come out alive after a particularly scathing encounter.
25Disaster Tides
Dagon
Out of all the antagonists shown in the series, there’s no denying that Dagon has witnessed the least amount of screen time. So, it was nice to see him shine in the Shibuya Incident arc, where fans got to witness his innate technique, Disaster Tides. Manipulating water may not seem like the strongest technique around, only for Dagon to surprise viewers with the sheer force and volume of water he can mold as per his requirements.
This incredible control over his cursed technique makes Disaster Tides a powerful technique that jujutsu sorcerers must be ready for at all times. The fact that he can shoot out this water with so much speed that certain people get knocked out is a testament to the immense power of thisJJKpower.
24Ice Formation
Uraume
Given the sheer number of creativeJJKpowersfans can check out inJujutsu Kaisen, it’s easy to see why a cursed technique that summons ice may not be the most interesting technique to witness in combat. Thankfully, Uraume’s character is compelling enough for this simple power to look amazing in her hands.
Freezing a massive area and nullifying the threat of certain foes can be a huge help in a series likeJujutsu Kaisenwhere certain cursed techniques can cause immense damage in no time. These cryogenic powers are amazing in Uraume’s hands, making it clear why she’s hailed as one of the strongest jujutsu sorcerers in the series.
22Ratio
Kento Nanami
Kento Nanamiis easily one of the more unique characters inJujutsu Kaisen. He seems like a world-weary sorcerer who has seen it all, with his calm and rational approach in combat being one of his best traits.
Given his calculating mindset, it’s easy to see why he gets to use a complicatedRatiotechnique. By dividing his enemies into ten parts and hitting the 7:3 ratio point, Kento can turn this area into a weak point and hit it for massive damage.
21Boogie Woogie
Aoi Todo
WhileBoogie Woogiemight not be the most powerful technique on this list in the slightest, it’s howAoi Todouses itthat makes it such a formidable Jujutsu ability. With a simple clap of his hands, Todo can switch his position with that of any other person or object with Cursed Energy.
The utility of this move in a fight is truly unmatched. Todo can easily bamboozle opponents with this move and carry out clever moves to gain a much-needed advantage in battle. It helps that his eccentric personality and monstrous strength make what should be a pretty basic Cursed Technique into one of the best parts of the show.
20Projection Sorcery
Naobito Zenin, Naoya Zenin
One of the coolest techniques displayed during the Shibuya Incident was the powers of one of the members of the Zenin family. Despite being disposed of in record time,Naobito Zeninwowed fans with an ability that animation nerds would go gaga over.
His innateProjection Sorceryability lets him trap enemies in a state where they must adhere to the 24 FPS rule. Failing to do so will leave them stuck in place, making it easy for the sorcerer to dispose of these enemies without breaking a sweat.

Mai Zenin, Yorozu
The potential forConstructionis immense, with the idea of forming things out of cursed energy being a game-changer in the hands of anyone with limitless powers. However, as things stand, the only person who has used this ability in the series isMai Zenin, who has to cultivate a day’s worth of Cursed Energy to fashion one solitary bullet out of thin air.
A new sorcerer by the name ofYorozuis poised to show off this ability during the Culling Game arc. Fans can’t wait to see the true extent of this cursed technique’s potential in the anime.
