When players are talking about magical equipment inBaldur’s Gate 3, they’re usually talking about where to find these incredible products. But there is an exception. Some of the best equipment of the game is made and not found. The Adamantine Forge will takeMithral Oreand turn it into a great new piece of equipment.

But mining Mithral Ore isn’t as simple as right-clicking on a node inBaldur’s Gate 3. It’s also not something done with a specific tool like a pickaxe. Players are going to need to locate a node and then figure out how to mine it if they want to use this Adamantine Forge.

One of the most important comes in the form ofMithral Ore, and it can be a bit tricky to find for players who aren’t sure where to look. Thankfully, there aretwo nodes of Mithral Ore that players can snagto help them create things at the Adamantine Forge. To better help players withwhere to find Mithral Ore in Baldur’s Gate 3, the following guide has been updated.
How To Mine Mithral Ore

This Mithral Vein is immune to most damage types except for bludgeoning damage. It’s also got the “Sturdy” property which automatically reduces damage below a certain threshold.Switch party membersto somebody with high strength and have them smack the Mithral Vein. Then loot the Mithral Ore after it explodes.
Players who areleveling up fastwill be killing their way through this area already. Find the Mithral Ore conveniently close to the Adamantine Forge itself. Hop off the path to the west and east sides and get two pieces. Note that this means that players can’t make every possible piece, so choose which ones to make wisely.
The only remaining challenge is tofight the boss at the Adamantine Forge. Killing the boss is actually somewhat instructive in teaching players how to use the forge and lava flow itself. After getting the party equipped with some of these items, some of the other possible boss fights will be much easier to knock out.
Baldur’s Gate 3is available now for PC. The PlayStation 5 version will be available on September 6th, 2023. A version for Xbox Series X/S is still in development.
