Possible Outcomes for Arabella in Baldur’s Gate 3

This young Tiefling has the potential to appear in all three ofBaldur’s Gate 3’s acts, depending on the player’s choices and dedication to exploring each act’s map. Players will almost assuredly come acrossArabella in Act 1as the game guides players toward the Emerald Grove and Kagha as part ofBaldur’s Gate 3’s main quest. This first encounter can catch players off guard if they’re not prepared for it and can result in Arabella’s premature death, locking players off from seeing the rest of her story in the game’s future acts.

Arabella Dies in Act 1

When players reach the Emerald Grove and enter the Druid’s Chambers, they will find Kagha preparing to punish Arabella for attempting to steal the magical Idol of Silvanus. Players can intervene and pass a Persuasion or Nature check to convince Kagha to release the girl orexpose Kagha’s plot with the Shadow Druidsby finding evidence before this interaction, and she will be freed after a combat encounter. However, should players fail to take either of these actions, Kagha’s snake Teela will bite and kill Arabella, ending her story with grieving parents and the option for revenge on Kagha.

Arabella Runs Away into the Shadowlands in Act 2

If players successfully save Arabella in Act 1, she can be encountered again in Act 2 ofBaldur’s Gate 3, once players reach Reithwin Town, looking for her parents who got separated from the other tiefling refugees during an Absolutist attack. Arabella will ask the player to find her parents, but unfortunately, they are already dead, and their corpses can be found in theHouse of Healingnearby. If players want to continue Arabella’s quest, they should tell her to wait back at camp with Withers while they search for her parents, as discovering her parents' corpses before talking to her can result in players breaking the news too soon and Arabella running off never to be seen again.

Arabella Joins the Final Fight in Act 3

To get the best outcome of Arabella’s quest, players will need to verify she is sent back to their camp in Act 2 where she will meetWithers, who encourages her to follow the Weave to harness her newfound magical abilities. If Arabella leaves on this quest, she can be found again in Act 3 below Baldur’s Gate in the City Sewers, where she will reveal that she has gained the ability to channel her powers. After this interaction, Arabella can be summoned duringBaldur’s Gate 3’s final battle as part of the “Gather Your Allies!” quest.
