Despite a few quirks,Back 4 Bloodhas proven to be a popular zombie shooter since it launched not too long ago. Many are enjoy its various features and overall fun factor, while many are quick to point out certain missing features. For example, there has been a little bit of everything from the lack of couch co-op inBack 4 Bloodto the inability to just drop an attachment.

Now,Back 4 Bloodplayers are asking for one more major feature: the ability for a group of players to “vote-kick” another. It’s worth noting that the game currently does not force players online, as they can play solo, but that allprogression features and achievements inBack 4 Bloodare currently impossible to unlock except when playing online. This, in and of itself, is a big deal, but it’s the interactions players are finding online that makes it worse.

Back 4 Blood’s Online Requirement and Griefers

No matter what, an online game will feature griefers. No single online game, including titles likeRed Dead OnlinealongsideBack 4 Blood, has not had those who are just determined to ruin other games. Whether it’s intentionally harming otherBack 4 Bloodplayers on the hardest difficulty, refusing to enter the safe room, or just being downright belligerent on chat, there are plenty of ways to ruin a game.

Some players have had enough and are askingBack 4 Blooddeveloper Turtle Rock Studios to add a “Votekick” feature. This would allow 2-3 people of the 4 people playing together to vote and remove the belligerent player from the lobby. It’s an incredibly important feature and one that may seem odd as missing at launch.

Potential Back 4 Blood Griefing Fixes

It should be noted, however, that theBack 4 Bloodbeta did have this feature, but it didn’t work properly. Hopefully, what this means is that the developer can fix the issue and reinstitute the feature soon, though as of this writing, there has been no confirmation of this one way or another. On the other hand, though, Turtle Rock Studios has confirmed it’s working on fixingBack 4 Blood’s solo campaign so everything can be unlocked offline.

If this fix manages to come first, this may be yet another way to enjoyBack 4 Bloodbut avoid griefers. For now, though, fans will just have to wait and see what comes inTurtle Rock Studios’ next update.

Back 4 Bloodis available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
