Today, Ubisoft premieredthe first cinematic trailerforAssassin’s Creed Valhalla, which is the upcoming twelfth major installment in theAssassin’s Creedseries. Apart from the latest preview, Ubisoft also revealed some details concerningAssassin’s Creed Valhalla’spre-order bonuses and special editions.

First, players who will pre-orderAssassin’s Creed Valhallawill receive an additional mission called The Way of the Berserker, which is an extra mission that will revolve around Eivor joining a legendary Norse Berserker on a revenge quest. Additionally, there will be three special editions forAssassin’s Creed Valhallain total. First is the Gold Edition, priced at $110, which will include the game and the season pass. The Ultimate Edition, on the other hand, will be available for $120 include the game, season pass, and the Ultimate Pack, which contains exclusive customization content, such as the Berserker Gear Pack, the Berserker Settlement Pack, the Berserker Longship Pack, and some runes that will enhance weapons and gear.

Finally, Ubisoft will also release a Collector’s Edition that includes everything in the Ultimate Editon, plus a replica statue ofprotagonist Eivorand their longship (30 cm tall), a collector’s case, a steelbook, a numbered certificate of authenticity, a Viking statuette of Eivor together with a raven and Dane ax (5cm tall), exclusive lithographs, and soundtrack. It is worth noting that the Collector’s Edition is priced at $200, and will only be available at the Ubisoft Store. Pre-ordering any edition of the game will include the extra mission The Way of the Berserker.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft revealed thatAssassin’s Creed Valhallais set to receive its first gameplay preview next week. In a tweet released by the official account of Xbox, it has been revealed that the studio will be showcasing some gameplay from several developers in order to promote the powers of the Xbox Series X. Ubisoft quickly retweeted Xbox’s announcement and revealed that it will participate in the episode happening on May 7th at 8 AM PT to showthe first gameplay trailer ofAssassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Additionally, Ubisoft revealed that the PC version ofAssassin’s Creed Valhallawill be an Epic Games Storeand UPlay exclusive, and will skip Steam altogether. Of course, this exclusive partnership with the Epic Games doesn’t come as a surprise given that last year’s The Division 2, was also released exclusively on the Epic Games Store.
