Cosplays are a popular hobby for many fans of video games. With so manyiconic games that have stunning character designs, there’s no shortage of amazing cosplay from creators to share with the gaming community. However, sometimes one cosplay manages to stand out from among the crowd. Recently, a fan ofApex Legendsdesigned an imaginative cosplay of one of the original Legends from the Battle Royale.
In a post on Instagram, a cosplayer known as sarenji revealed a new cosplay ofCaustic fromApex Legends. This cosplay is especially interesting as it reveals what a female version of Legend would look like. In the collection of photos from the creator, she is seen in the character’s iconic yellow overalls. To help complete the look, the cosplayer attached a number of gas canisters to the outfit along with wearing the Legend’s gas mask.

One of the major highlights of the cosplay centers on the recreation of Caustic’s heirloom. The large hammer seen being held by sarenji is an incredibly detailed replica of the one seen in the game. Adding to the atmosphere of the image, the designer included wisps of green gas in the corners of the picture to further the toxic look of the character as well. With almost 2,800 likes on Instagram, fans have been loving this latest cosplay from the creator.
This is just one of a number of cosplays created by sarenji on Instagram. Beyond her Caustic outfit, the creator has portrayed other Legends from the game such as Crypto, Wraith, and Mirage. In each of these designs, the cosplayer has included a realistic prop to enhance the portrayal such as a Wingman in the Crypto cosplay andthe Kunai Knife heirloomfor the Void Prowler Wraith skin. According to her Instagram account, she is planning her next cosplay to be of the Bootlegger Loba skin.
In other news related to the toxic Legend, players have a new reason to try the character in the game as the developersbuffed Caustic at the start of Season 10. The damage done by his gas now begins at 5 and increases by 1 every 2 ticks an enemy player remains in the effected area. Furthermore, his Tactical and Ultimate cooldowns have been reduced as well. While he is still weak in wide-open areas, it’s extremely difficult for enemy teams to breach a building fortified with Caustic traps.
It’s exciting to see the community get involved in the creation of cosplays of some of the most iconic characters inApex Legends. With an extensive list of memorable Legends that continues to grow every season, creators such as sarenji seemingly have unlimited options for what to cosplay next.
