Almost every anime character aspires to become stronger than the rest. They put in years of hard work to gain insurmountable power that would make them stronger than anyone else around them. With their immense power, these characters are capable of taking on several characters at once.

There are a handful of characters, who take the easy way to become stronger than anyone else around them. They are able to steal the abilities of other characters and use them for their own use. Such characters are able to rise through the ranks quickly without having to work hard. With that in mind, here are anime characters who can steal the power of others.
7Ban (Seven Deadly Sins)
Ban is one of the members of the strongest group of knights that is knownas the Seven Deadly Sins. He is very close to Meliodas, who is the leader of the group. Ban gained immortality after drinking the water from the Fountain of Youth. Ban was able to fight against opponents with far superior strength because of his inability to die.
Ban’s power is further bolstered by his special ability known as Fox Hunt. He can steal the strength of characters who are far stronger than him and then he can use the stolen power against them. There is, however, a limit to how much power Ban can actually steal and use. If he takes away too much power, his body suffers and he is extremely susceptible to attacks.
6Chrollo Lucifer (Hunter x Hunter)
Chrollo is the founder andleader of the Phantom Troupe. He is a very intelligent man and under his leadership, the Phantom Troupe has pulled off heists that would have been impossible otherwise. He is an incredible fighter and undoubtedly the strongest member of the Troupe.

He was able to hold off both Zeno and Silva Zoldyck on his own and according to Zeno, Chrollo was holding back and not going all out. Chrollo Lucifer has the special skill of stealing the abilities of other people. After stealing these abilities, he can use them against their original user.
5Kakashi Hatake (Naruto)
Kakashi Hatake was labeled a prodigy ever since he was a kid. He was trained by Sakumo Hatake, who was one of the best ninjasof the Hidden Leaf. Kakashi’s training allowed him to rise through the ranks quite easily. His power was increased further when Kakashi received the Sharingan from his best friend, Obito.
With the Sharingan, Kakashi became much more dangerous. The Sharingan allowed him to copy the movements of his opponents without much effort. Furthermore, it also enabled Kakashi to copy and use the ninjutsu of his opponent, thus making him an extremely formidable opponent.
4All for One (My Hero Academia)
All for One is thefounder of the League of Villains. After being defeated by All Might, his goal became to destroy the current wielder of One for All, Midoriya Izuku. He is considered to be Japan’s most dangerous villain.

He is immortal and he also has the ability to steal the quirks of other people. These two abilities almost make it impossible to beat him. The quirks that he steals can be combined to make them even more powerful.
3Yu Otosaka (Charlotte)
He is the main protagonist of the series. Yu Otosaka has the ability to possess other people for five seconds. However, his strongest ability is Plunder, which allows him to steal the power of someone else. Once a person has their power stolen, he/she can never use it again. On the other hand, Yu can use the stolen ability as he pleases.
2Anubis (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure)
Anubis is a Stand fromJoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders. It is one of the many Stands that are based on the Egyptian Gods. Anubis is an independent Stand in the sense as it does not require the user to give it commands. Instead, Anubis takes over their body and uses its own consciousness to fight. In order to activate Anubis, a person must first pick up the sword.
The longer Anubis is involved in a fight, the more difficult it becomes for its opponent as the Stand has the ability to create counters against the attacks that have been used against it. This means the same attack won’t work twice on it. So, in essence, Anubis steals the attacks of its opponent and renders them useless.
1Blackbeard (One Piece)
Blackbeard is the main antagonist ofOne Piece, which makes Luffy’s final opponent. Currently, he holds the position of a Yonko, and it puts him among the four of the strongest pirates in the world. After stealing the Yami Yami no Mi from Thatch, Blackbeard started his own crew. The devil fruit is a logia type and it allows him to nullify the power of other devil fruits.
In addition to power cancellation, Blackbeard can also steal the devil fruits of other people. It is unknown how Blackbeard is able to achieve such a thing, but it is very likely that he uses thepower of the Yami Yami no Mi. With the power to steal devil fruits, Blackbeard was able to get his hands on Whitebeard’s Gura Gura no Mi.
