This game largely revolves around letting players go at their own pace. It’s designed to be played for a couple of hours a day (or more, if the player so chooses) and changes throughout the year, having a lot of events (devs have also announced intended support for the next 3 years).

Due to this game essentially being a minigame collection, as well as having so many games that people regularly play, decently challenging AI opponents, and online interactivity, it is a game that players can keep coming back to for a long time.
8Slay the Spire
Slay the Spireis a rogue-like deck-building strategy game with up to 4 playable characters to choose from. The player is tasked with ascending the Spire, builds a deck along the way, and slays many monsters (with a randomly chosen boss or each floor).

Due to the many unique cards and possible builds (using both cards, special items, and different characters) makes this game have a lot of play-time for those interested in the genre or 100% completion. Along with its semi-randomly generated nature, players will be able to experience new levels and runs forever.
7Enter the Gungeon
Enter the Gungeonis a top-down gun-centric rogue-like game. With a large cast of vastly different playable characters, diverse enemies, a high difficulty level, and an insane amount of guns (and items), players are guaranteed to be busy for quite a while.
Being a rogue-like with an immense amount of content means that even after 100% completion (which should take most players a very long time), the players will still have a lot of possible runs/play-time left in the game just for fun that will still be largely unique (along with a couple of challenge modes).

The most recent installment in one of Nintendo’s biggest new IP’s,Splatoon 2, cracks the top 5 of this list. The game is a third-person shooter with two large single-player campaigns (including the Octo Expansion DLC),a myriad of weapons, and several online multiplayer game modes.
