After initially obtaining this weapon by completing this Season’s placement matches, players can earn a new roll for this weapon every weekly reset, so there are plenty of chances for players to get their desired perk rolls. Mercurial Overreach will likely be replaced with a new competitive crucible playlist reward before too long, so players should grab this sniper while they have the chance.
Malediction
This weapon is in the same boat as the Mercurial Overreach sniper, since they will both be unavailable in the near future, potentially as early as the release of Season 23. Horror Story is a returning weapon, except leaks for the upcoming Event claim that this time around it will have Stasis damage instead of standard kinetic damage. The available perks for this weapon are also expected to change forDestiny 2’s upcoming Festival of the Lost Event in 2023. With the new Stasis Elemental damage and an updated perk pool, this weapon is shaping up to be a game-changer. Acosmic GSP
This is another weapon that leaked fromDestiny 2’s upcomingFestival of the Lost Eventexcept, unlike the Horror Story, this is a new weapon. Acosmic GSP is a heavy slot, rapid-fire frame Void grenade launcher. Because it hasn’t been seen in action, players don’t know what exactly to expect about this weapon’s performance ahead of its release, but its rarity alone is plenty of incentive to collect a few rolls of the weapon while it’s available in the Festival of the Lost Event during Season of the Witch.
